Set at the stately clubhouse at Eagle Mountain, in Fountain Hills, AZ… this wedding venue is absolutely stunning! It overlooks Fountain Hills, where you get the most spectacular desert landscape views.
When I look at photos like these, I am reminded at how truly gorgeous the desert is.
Now, let us talk about this BRIDAL BOUQUET! I am in love with the succulents mixed with the oh so fluffy, soft white chrysanthemums and white ranuculus. The perfect, velvety chocolate cozmos and bright pop of yellow craspedia (billy balls) top it off. My favorite part of the bouquet is the locket that Kylie had me attach to the twine wrap. I LOVE when brides have something centimental to add to their wedding. ITS ALL ABOUT THE LITTLE DETAILS!!!! Those details really are what make the event memorable and special.
I love the simplicity of the babies breath clusters the bridesmaids held.
A simple, single craspedia with the cool textured scabiosa pod and twine wrap was what was chosen for the boutonnières. For the little guys, we chose the smallest most delicate of the scabiosa pods, and of course, attached to their shirts with a SAFETY pin rather than a typical open pin…. I have 4 little boys people, trust me when I say that open pin would surely become a little weapon:)!
Aren’t these flower girls adorable? Smaller babies breath bouquets with added traily ribbon and twine make the bouquets more young and fun.
Thanks again to the gorgeous bride, Kylie for sharing your photos… and allowing me to create beautiful designs for your special day.

Happy fall everyone!! It may still be in the 90′s, but last night it was actually cool enough to open the windows! Yay!! Hey, I really dont care that I was sweating like a pig putting the Halloween decor up…. its up, its under 100 degrees, so fall is here;)
I am in LOVE with fall colors, and especially fall leaves. Since, here in Az our leaves don’t change til probably New Years, every year I just HAVE to talk atleast one bride into doing fall flowers. This wedding from last week is the closest to a fall bouquet I’ve done in a long time…and it sure did make me happy. It turned out gorgeous with the orange dahlias, different shades of orange and cream roses, hypericum berry, astilbe, scabiosa pods, and to top it off, copper beech and liquid amber leaves. I have got to get my hands on some professional pics of these flowers! Until then, hopefully you get the idea with these photos, courtesy of my phone;)
This bouquet is from a photo shoot I had the opportunity to do the flowers for, with an amazing photographer, Imaginale Design.
It was over a year ago, but I still just had to share!! This bouquet still is, to this day, one of my all time favorites. Bold coral peonies, mixed with red and pink garden roses, red anemones, the biggest red hypericum berry I have ever seen, with just the perfect amount of greenery. Once again, it was such a priviledge to work with such a talented photographer. Her vision of the shoot came together, and was simply breathtaking. Check out her origional blog post too, to see all the photos….. you will DIE! http://imaginale.blogspot.com/2012/11/frida-kahlo-wedding-inspiration-shoot.html
